Annington, first and foremost, has a long-term leasehold interest in the Ministry of Defence (MoD) married quarters estate. From year to year, as determined and decided by the MoD, homes which are surplus to its requirements are handed back to Annington; this regular flow of properties is an important part of our business.
Our approach to the refurbishment and sale of the surplus homes is based on three guiding principles:

We always try to offer homes at competitive prices. Together with the use of appropriate financial incentives*, we aim to make home buying a realistic option for more people.
To create environments and places in which people want to live.
Where we can, effort is concentrated on improving the ‘street scene‘ to make it more appealing, from planting new landscaping to changing the external appearance of a property.
To provide peace of mind.
We sell many of our homes with a "28 Day Seal of Approval" - this gives our buyers peace of mind in the knowledge that any electrical and gas systems within their home have been professionally checked. The hot and cold water systems will have been turned on and run, to ensure they are in working order .*
We also privately let a number of properties and occasionally redevelop sites or build new homes.
