ANNINGTON ANNOUNCES SALE OF THE MARRIED QUARTERS ESTATE TO THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE FOR £6 BILLION
Annington is pleased to announce that it has agreed the sale of its interests in the Married Quarters Estate (MQE) to the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
• Annington to surrender its 999-year lease of approximately 36,000 housing units to the MOD.
• All ongoing legal proceedings between the parties in relation to enfranchisement and leasehold reform to be terminated.
• Annington will continue with its long-term business plan to invest in UK housing assets
