Annington is set to launch its latest development of refurbished homes in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The first phase of eight two-bedroom properties will be available to view from Friday 19th August by prior appointment.
The first release at Lamborough Fields, named after the nearby sprawling fields, will comprise a number of two-bedroom mid and end-terrace homes, each complete with a spacious living/dining area. Each property has been given a new lease of life thanks to light refurbishment works, and all homes have parking, either in the form of a driveway or allocated spaces.
Andy Edwards, Branch Manager at Davis Tate, comments: “It’s a lovely quiet location on the edge of Abingdon, overlooking green fields, while the town centre is just a short drive away. These properties are a great find for first time buyers, and a great alternative to the expensive new builds which are starting to spring up in town. We are also expecting Lamborough Fields to be popular with Service personnel seeking an easy commute to Dalton Barracks.”
A dedicated Service Discount will be available to buyers in the Armed Forces, subject to eligibility criteria, offering a £500 contribution from Annington for every £25,000 of the cost of the home, up to a maximum of £5,000.
Abingdon is a Thameside market town set in rural Oxfordshire, home to a busy shopping centre, supermarkets and convenience stores, and a range of independent restaurants, cafes and local eateries. A number of primary and secondary schools are within easy reach, alongside a dedicated sixth form college, while the famous spires of Oxford are just a 20 minute drive from Lamborough Fields.
Stacy Whitehead, Marketing Manager at Annington, adds: “As with all of our refurbished properties, a great deal of care has been taken to restore the homes at Lamborough Fields to a high standard – and as such they are a blank slate for a new homeowner to make their own. We invite anyone interested in Lamborough Fields to contact Davis Tate to book an appointment, as places are filling fast for our launch weekend.”
Abingdon remains extremely well connected for commuters, with train links from nearby Radley Station offering services to Oxford in under 10 minutes, whereas Oxford Station (just eight miles away) offers direct access to London Marylebone, Paddington and Birmingham within an hour. Major road links, including the A34, the M4 to the south and M40 to the north mean that the rest of the country is at new homeowners’ fingertips.
Prices at Lamborough Fields start from £280,000 for a two-bedroom mid-terrace home with a private garden. To find out more about the properties for sale in Abingdon, please contact the allocated selling agent Davis Tate on 01235 526907 or email abingdon@davistate.com
