ANNINGTON’S COW-NTRIBUTION HELPS MOO-VE MOUNTAINS FOR FOAL FARM ANIMAL RESCUE

Earlier this year we partnered with our human and furry neighbours at Foal Farm Animal Rescue in Biggin Hill, Kent to install a much-needed community noticeboard within the sanctuary.

We first joined forces with the fantastic volunteers at Foal Farm when we sponsored Woody the Cow, one of Foal Farm’s long-standing residents. Our sponsorship supports the day to day costs of looking after and feeding Woody, who was rescued from a dairy farm and has since integrated into the cattle herd. Woody even inspired the design of one of the bedrooms in for the show home at our nearby development Aperfield Gate!

For over 60 years, Foal Farm has been rescuing and rehoming neglected animals in and around Kent, finding homes for around 500 cats, dogs and small animals each year. The 26-acre farm also provides a permanent sanctuary to more than 100 farm animals and equines. Foal Farm is non-profit, meaning that it relies completely on donations, contributions and fundraisers to continue operating.

Our latest donation has enabled the hard-working team at Foal Farm to install a noticeboard onsite, which will be used to communicate updates, events and activities to the local community.

Stacy Whitehead, our Marketing Manager, says: “For decades, Foal Farm has been an essential part of the human and animal community in Biggin Hill. The sanctuary is run wholly by volunteers, who, without community sponsorships, would not be able to provide lifelong love and support for the animals in their care. Our support is just a drop in the ocean, but when the majority of expenditure goes towards caring for animals, our donation of a noticeboard will allow the team at Foal Farm to expand their reach, and share good news and updates with visitors and passers-by alike.”
