First time buyer, Assed Ahmed Khalid purchased a three-bedroom end-terrace home at The Pines, located in the heart of the brand-new town centre in Bordon, East Hampshire. Assed made the move from his rented studio apartment in Wimbledon, after his brother moved to the same set of houses and since then he has never looked back.
As the bustling town benefits from a wider regeneration project, Assed was assured he was making the right move from the capital. “The value for money stood out. I wanted to be financially smart over the decision and given the town centre regeneration and I believe the value of my property will be secured.” Bordon’s melting pot of community was a key factor for the move, for himself and his family; “I believe it’s important for everyone to interact with people from different backgrounds. I know with my kids, I want them to learn from others and grow up with a diverse group of friends, something which Bordon demonstrates”.
We love making moving home an easy process as Assed found with his new home, which was sitting ready for his new car. "I’m already reaping the rewards of the extra space, gaining a separate office and I’m able to have my children stay with me on the weekends. My home also has an electric car charger fitted as standard, which I was expecting to buy anyway, so being able to save on that expense was a big win!”
