Twin sisters Stephanie and Jessica wanted to move from their rental in Cheshire to Warton to be closer to their parents so they did just that, swapping their tenancies for a mortgage when they purchased at Butlers Meadow in Warton.
Initially, the sisters were looking at rentals in Warton but were surprised to find they would end up paying more than their rent in Cheshire. Their property search and buying process was quick and easy. After their parents viewed the property, they put forward an offer without stepping foot in their soon-to-be home, and one month later, the pair moved in. Stephanie told us, “While it may seem daring to put an offer on a house without seeing it in person, we both grew up in houses like this. Our Dad was in the Army for over twenty years, and it feels like it’s come full circle.”
“Splitting the mortgage between the two of us gives us a lot more flexibility than we previously could afford. It’s comforting buying with my twin sister, not only are we saving money, but we have full trust in each other.”
It’s wonderful to hear of siblings who grew up in MoD housing now purchasing their first home in these refurbished military married quarters.
